Lions @ Packers (-6)
Lock of the week Packers -6. I’m 0 for 2 on write ups but I promise this one is better. Lions secondary is missing Desmond Trufant with Roberts being questionable as well. Mitchell threw for 3 touchdowns in the 4th quarter torching the Lions last week. Rodgers threw for 364 yards and 4 touchdowns in Minnesota last weekend and will have the same numbers if not better this weekend. The Packers are a much better team than the Bears are and this game will not be close. The Lions are also missing DT Nick Williams, TE Hunter Bryant and WR Kenny Golladay. Peterson looked good in his debut with the Lions but an average Matthew Stafford isn’t going to help him this weekend. Don’t let the Packers score last week scare you, they gave up 24 of 34 in the 4th quarter. The Packers had essentially taken a vacay on defense at that point.
